Joomla 3.6.1 was released on August the 3rd and within 24 hours a few more issues were found and now... Joomla 3.6.2 is here!  We wish to give a big thanks to the bug team for addressing these issues so quickly.

Joomla 3.6 was released on July the 12th and there are a few bugs and issues that needed to be fixed.  Joomla 3.6.1 addresses these low level security issues and bugs from Joomla 3.6.0.  There are also some important upgrade instructions for this release.

WordPress has taken the lead as the solution for websites, but how did this happen? WordPress and Joomla have a common start, both are software forks that started at the same time.  Joomla and WordPress share the same programming languages and mark up:  PHP, MYSQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

We first introduced our custom XTC Template Framework for Joomla in 2010 and over the years we have been making advancements with each template release.  To celebrate our 9th year as one of the top Joomla Template and Extension clubs we started on one of the biggest update yet!  

GIF formatted images have made a huge come back in 2016.  The current GIF revolution has been highly focused on social media, but GIF's are finding their way back to websites.  In the late 90's and early 2000's clipart based GIF's were all the rage, but now GIF's are making their way into the future.
