I get PHP Notice Errors? What Do I Do?

PHP "Notice" messages provide information when doing program development or debugging, but might be confusing to the general public since they do not necessarily mean there are errors on the program.

Unfortunately, many hosting companies have them enabled by default.

In order to disable these messages, edit your php.ini file to include an "error_reporting" tag that looks exactly like this:

;
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE;
;

If the tag is not visible, or is preceded by a semi-colon, please add or edit it to look exactly like this.

Depending on your system setup, you might need to restart the web server software for the change to take effect.

Please consult your hosting provider for specific information and the right process to perform this change on your web site.
